Wingify Alternatives: What to Use Now That VWO and AB Tasty Are One Company

VWO and AB Tasty now sell as one company, Wingify, so neither is an alternative to the other. The real alternatives to the combined platform, with every competitor price read from the vendor's own page on October 8, 2026.

Wingify Alternatives: What to Use Now That VWO and AB Tasty Are One Company

The short answer: As of October 8, 2026, VWO and AB Tasty are one company, Wingify, so neither is an alternative to the other. The real alternatives to the combined platform are: Convert if you want the closest like-for-like replacement with a published price ($299 a month billed annually; server-side testing and MVT need the Pro plan at $420 a month billed annually); Kameleoon for enterprise experimentation with a published starting price ($495 a month); Optimizely if governance at scale matters more than price (no published prices); Statsig, GrowthBook or PostHog if engineers run the tests (all have free tiers); and Mida or Humblytics if marketers run website tests and want a monthly price they can see. Humblytics ($79 a month) scores each variant on revenue from Stripe or Foxy but has no server-side testing, feature flags, personalization or MVT.

Most "AB Tasty alternatives" and "VWO competitors" lists were written when the two were rivals, and many still recommend one as the escape route from the other. That advice is out of date. This guide treats Wingify as one vendor and asks the useful question: if you want to leave the combined company, or get a competing quote before renewal, what actually competes with it?

Why AB Tasty is no longer an alternative to VWO

The short version, from Wingify's own pages, checked October 8, 2026:

  • One company, one brand. Wingify calls itself an "Agentic Experience Optimization (AXO) platform" with more than 4,000 customers and "$100M+ in revenue" (wingify.com/llm-info, last updated September 16, 2026).
  • The products will merge. The same page says VWO and AB Tasty capabilities will "converge," and that existing customers "may continue to use either" product during the "platform transition."
  • One front door. vwo.com and abtasty.com both redirect to wingify.com, and both products sit on one pricing page (wingify.com/pricing).

So switching from VWO to AB Tasty, or the reverse, does not change your vendor, your pricing page or, over time, your platform. For the full timeline and what it means for an existing contract, read what the merger means for your renewal.

What you are comparing against

Before you shortlist anything, know what Wingify's own pricing page says you get, and at which tier (wingify.com/pricing, page modified September 22, 2026, checked October 8, 2026):

  • Tiers: Growth, Pro and Enterprise, priced per product.
  • Price: not shown. Every tier's call to action is "Schedule a Demo." Pricing is custom, based on monthly active users (monthly tracked users for Behavioural Analytics).
  • Trial: 30 days, no credit card.
  • Data retention: 13 months, or 30, 60 or 90 days for Behavioural Analytics.
  • Gated to Pro and above: sample ratio mismatch (SRM) detection, guardrails and multivariate testing (MVT).
  • Enterprise only: SSO, API access and the approval workflow.

That list is your checklist. If your team relies on SSO or approval workflows today, you are on Enterprise and need an alternative with the same. If you mostly run A/B tests on landing pages, you may be paying for platform breadth you do not use. For past published figures, see VWO pricing and AB Tasty pricing.

The alternatives

1. Convert: the closest like-for-like replacement

Best for: teams that use most of what VWO or AB Tasty does and want the same shape of product with a price they can see.

Price, verified October 8, 2026: Growth $399 a month, or $3,588 a year billed annually ($299 a month), with 100,000 tested users a month and overage of $399 per additional 100,000. Pro $599 a month, or $5,040 a year billed annually ($420 a month), with 100,000 tested users a month and overage of $699 per 250,000. Enterprise is price on request, annual only, with 1M tested users a month. 15-day free trial. (convert.com/pricing)

Strengths: a published rate card at every tier except Enterprise. Server-side testing, MVT and personalization are on Pro, which maps closely to where Wingify gates MVT. Monthly billing is available if you do not want an annual commitment.

Watchouts: server-side testing and MVT are not on Growth, so a team replacing Wingify Pro should price Convert Pro, not Growth. Model the overage. A busy month past 100,000 tested users adds a full block of cost.

2. Kameleoon: enterprise experimentation with a number on the page

Best for: companies with a dedicated experimentation function that want an enterprise vendor other than Wingify or Optimizely.

Price, verified October 8, 2026: PBX Starter from $495 a month, with up to 10 experiments, 50,000 monthly tracked users and 1 project. A 30-day free trial allows up to 3 experiments, no credit card required. Enterprise is custom, with unlimited experiments, tracked users and projects. (kameleoon.com/plans)

Strengths: the only enterprise-tier vendor on this list that publishes a starting price. The trial needs no card. Enterprise removes the experiment and traffic caps.

Watchouts: the Starter plan's 10-experiment and 50,000-user limits are tight for a team that runs tests continuously, so most Wingify Pro or Enterprise customers would be comparing against Kameleoon Enterprise, which is a quote. If you are leaving Wingify because of custom pricing, that is the same conversation.

3. Optimizely: if governance at scale matters more than price

Best for: large organisations with many teams testing across many properties, a security review and an annual budget line.

Price, verified October 8, 2026: not published. The plans page states: "Every Optimizely plan is individually packaged." (optimizely.com/plans)

Strengths: the most established enterprise name in the category, and a credible competing quote when you negotiate a Wingify renewal.

Watchouts: custom packaging is the same buying motion as Wingify. If price transparency or contract terms are why you are leaving, Optimizely will not fix that. For the wider field, see Optimizely alternatives.

4. Statsig: the strongest free plan for engineering teams

Best for: product and engineering teams that want flags, experiments, analytics and session replay in one SDK-driven platform.

Price, verified October 8, 2026: Free plan with 2M events a month, 50,000 session replays a month, unlimited seats and 1-year analytics retention. Pro $150 a month with 5M events included, then $0.05 per 1,000 events, 100,000 session replays a month and unlimited retention. Enterprise is custom. (statsig.com/pricing)

Strengths: the most generous free allowance on this list. Unlimited seats on the free plan. Session replay is included, which Humblytics does not offer.

Watchouts: built around code and SDKs. A marketer who edits headlines in Wingify's visual editor will find the workflow different, and someone on the engineering side has to own it.

5. GrowthBook: experimentation on the data you already own

Best for: engineering teams with a data warehouse and an analyst who wants the statistics to run against it.

Price, verified October 8, 2026: Starter free with up to 3 users, 1 project, unlimited experiments and unlimited traffic. Pro $40 per seat per month, up to 30 users and 3 projects, with a visual editor. Enterprise custom. A self-hosted open source edition is also free. (growthbook.io/pricing)

Strengths: no traffic or experiment cap on any plan. Open source if you want to self-host. Per-seat pricing is predictable when traffic spikes.

Watchouts: the visual editor starts on Pro, not Starter. Without a warehouse and someone to model metrics, the free plan is less useful than it looks.

6. PostHog experiments: if you already run PostHog

Best for: product teams already using PostHog for analytics who want experiments in the same tool.

Price, verified October 8, 2026: experiments are billed with feature flags, which include 1M requests a month free. Product analytics includes 1M events a month free and session replay 5,000 recordings a month free. Paid rates are usage-based; we could not read the per-request rate reliably, so check posthog.com/pricing directly.

Strengths: experiments, analytics, flags and replay share one data set. No-code web experiments exist for simple changes.

Watchouts: PostHog's own documentation says no-code web experiments suit "simple layout changes" and that single-page applications (React, Vue, Angular) "may overwrite any no-code changes you apply" (PostHog docs). It is a product-team tool first.

7. Mida: marketer-led website testing with a free tier

Best for: marketing teams that want a visual editor and a published price, with room to start free.

Price, verified October 8, 2026: Sandbox free, no time limit and no credit card, with up to 100,000 monthly tested users and event tracking capped at 50,000 events a day. Growth $224 a month billed annually, or from $299 a month per the page's own description, starting at 50,000 monthly tested users and selectable up to 2M, with a 15-day trial. Enterprise custom. (mida.so/pricing)

Strengths: a "Website Visual Editor (No coding required)" and a genuinely free plan. Server-side testing through an SDK is included on Growth, which Convert holds back to Pro.

Watchouts: the pricing page does not mention heatmaps or session recordings, so if you use Wingify's Behavioural Analytics you will need a second tool. Check what the 50,000 events a day cap on Sandbox means for your traffic.

8. Humblytics: for marketers who need the verdict in revenue

Best for: marketers and agencies testing landing pages and paid traffic who want testing, heatmaps, funnels and revenue attribution in one script.

Price, verified October 8, 2026: Business $79 a month with 500,000 events, 5 active A/B tests, 5 funnels and 5 heatmaps. Scale $279 a month with 1M events, unlimited tests, funnels and heatmaps, and 5 team members. Enterprise custom. Monthly billing, 14-day trial, no free tier. (pricing)

Strengths: a no-code visual editor plus split URL tests that redirect visitors to a whole new page version. Revenue per variant comes from Stripe or Foxy, so a test is scored in dollars rather than clicks. Meta and Google Ads attribution in the same dashboard. Its analytics script uses no cookies or local-storage identifiers. A hosted MCP server lets Claude or Codex read traffic, funnels and test results; VWO ships an MCP server too, so the difference is the revenue data behind it, not the protocol.

Watchouts: no session replay, no server-side testing, no feature flags, no personalization and no MVT. Revenue attribution covers Stripe and Foxy only, and ad attribution covers Meta and Google Ads only. Tests can auto-stop after a set duration but never auto-promote a winner, so a person ships the change. If your Wingify use depends on any of those, Convert Pro, Statsig or Kameleoon is the better fit. See the Humblytics vs VWO comparison.

How to choose

Start with which Wingify capabilities you actually use, not the full platform list.

You use most of it: visual and server-side testing, MVT, personalization. Convert Pro is the closest published-price match. Kameleoon and Optimizely if you need an enterprise contract, but expect a quote.

You need SSO, approval workflows or an API, which Wingify reserves for Enterprise. You are buying at the enterprise tier anywhere. Get quotes from Optimizely and Kameleoon Enterprise, and from Convert Enterprise, and use them in your Wingify renewal.

Engineers run the tests. Statsig if you want replay and analytics included, GrowthBook if you want warehouse-native statistics, PostHog if you already use it.

Marketers run website tests, and the rest of the platform sits unused. Mida if you want a free starting point and server-side options on Growth. Humblytics if you want heatmaps, funnels and ad attribution in the same tool, and the test scored on revenue.

Two checks before you sign anything:

  1. What does the price meter on? Wingify prices on monthly active users. Convert meters tested users, Kameleoon and Mida meter tracked or tested users, Statsig and PostHog meter events or requests, GrowthBook meters seats, and Humblytics meters events. A traffic spike hits each differently.
  2. Which features are gated to the tier you would actually buy? Convert holds server-side and MVT to Pro. GrowthBook holds the visual editor to Pro. Wingify holds MVT and SRM detection to Pro. Compare tier to tier, not headline to headline.

Other angles on the same decision: the generic VWO alternatives list, and VWO and AB Tasty alternatives for higher education if you run enrollment campaigns.

Moving off Wingify

No tool imports another tool's experiment history. Plan for a clean start:

  1. Export what you have. Save each VWO or AB Tasty test's dates, goal, variants and outcome as a static record. Wingify retains experiment data for 13 months, and Behavioural Analytics data for 30 to 90 days, so export before notice runs out.
  2. List the features you rely on. Use the tier list above. Anything Enterprise-only at Wingify (SSO, API, approval workflow) needs a match before you move.
  3. Pick the first test now. Choose one high-traffic or high-spend page so the new tool starts on a real question, not a setup exercise.
  4. Run both scripts for two to four weeks on that page. Compare conversion counts between the two tools and against your source of truth (payment processor, CRM or analytics) for the same period.
  5. Rebuild goals, not history. Recreate your conversion goals in the new tool. Do not try to stitch old results into new reports.
  6. Give notice before the renewal date. Ask Wingify for the notice period and renewal terms in writing. The renewal guide lists the questions to ask.
