Give a big search the page it is asking for

If a search in your category gets thousands of visits a month and you sell the answer, build one page that matches what Google already shows for it, and link it to your product.

When to use it
A high-volume, low-difficulty search sits next to what you sell, and your matching page is missing, thin or ranking for something else.
The idea behind it
Google shows the kind of page searchers want. A gallery, a guide or a product page that matches that kind, from a strong domain, has room to rank.
How to set it up
  1. 1) List the biggest searches in your category with volume and difficulty.
  2. 2) Check page one for each, and note the kind of page that ranks.
  3. 3) Find your page that should answer it, or build one of that kind.
  4. 4) Watch impressions and sign-ups from that page for 30 days.
How long it takes
About 30 days of search data before you judge it.
